It was the English period back in Ukraine. We were all waiting for our teacher to show up and even after 15 min she still didn’t come. So up I went to the chalkboard and said to all my fellow classmates: “Guys, I’ll substitute the teacher today”. For the remainder of the class I had them do exercises, I asked questions, they raised their hands and the students actually participated and went along with it. At the end of class, I grabbed the red pen and wrote grades in their planners signed next to each grade proudly. Then finally in comes the teacher and she was shocked to say the least! She said I can never do that again, and used white-out to erase the evidence of my grades.

Long before I finished grade school, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I have been passionate about teaching and tutoring since I can remember myself. Straight out of High School I was hired to work as a tutor and now for 13 years and counting I have a lot of teaching experience with all kinds of ages and subjects. I have worked in public, private, and charter schools. As well as doing private tutoring. It is a blessing to have a job that I am passionate about.

I am a mom of 2 boys, whom I homeschool. Happily married for almost 10 years. And I am proud to say that I am a strong believer in Christ. He gives me strength everyday. All glory to God!
